About – APE (Ajax Push Engine) :: Real time data streaming

Ajax Push Engine (APE) is an OpenSource technology allowing to exchange data between thousands of users through a web browser, without reloading and without external plugins.

As a complete packaged solution, it is designed to push real-time data in a lightweight, highly scalable and modular way, only using Javascript for the client side. With the use of those Web Stardards, APE is fully crossbrowser and uses all the latest browser features and provides backward compatibility for older ones.

Piano Etudes

Inspired by the tradition of open-form musical scores, I composed each of these four piano etudes as a collection of short musical fragments with links to connect them. In performance, the pianist must use those links to jump from fragment to fragment, creating her own unique version of the composition.
The pianist, though, should not have all the fun. So I also developed this web site, where you can create your own version of each etude, download it as an audio file or a printable score, and share it with others. In concert, pianists may make up their own version of each etude, or they may select a version created by a web visitor.

flensed :: flXHR Project

flXHR(flex-er) is a *client-based* cross-browser, XHR-compatible tool for cross-domain client-to-server Ajax (Flash) communication. It utilizes an invisible flXHR.swf instance that acts as sort of a client-side proxy for requests, combined with a Javascript object/module wrapper that exposes an identical interface to the native XMLHttpRequest (XHR) browser object, with a few helpful additions and a couple of minor limitations

CSSHttpRequest

CSSHttpRequest (CHR) is a method for cross-domain AJAX using CSS for transport.

Similar to JavaScript, this works because CSS is not subject to the same-origin policy that affects XMLHttpRequest. Like JSONP, CSSHttpRequest is limited to making GET requests. Unlike JSONP, untrusted third-party JavaScript cannot execute in the context of the calling page.

jQuery File Tree

jQuery File Tree is a configurable, AJAX file browser plugin for jQuery. You can create a customized, fully-interactive file tree with as little as one line of JavaScript code.

Well it’s actually a good generic tree widget in jQuery that can load subbranches with an ajaxian call.

Flexigrid

Lightweight but rich data grid with resizable columns and a scrolling data to match the headers, plus an ability to connect to an xml based data source using Ajax to load the content.
Similar in concept with the Ext Grid only its pure jQuery love, which makes it light weight and follows the jQuery mantra of running with the least amount of configuration.
