OpenWrt
If you also are an unhappy owner of a Linksys WAG54G router, you might want to try this. They say it’s compatible, but without a JTAG cable I don’t really dare to try.

OpenWrt is a Linux distribution for wireless routers. Instead of trying to cram every possible feature into one firmware, OpenWrt provides only a minimal firmware with support for add-on packages. For users this means the ability to custom tune features, removing unwanted packages to make room for other packages and for developers this means being able to focus on packages without having to test and release an entire firmware

PGD ( Php Gmail Drive ) from Rahat Ayub

PhpGmailDrive is a new type of file sharing utility. Unlike typical file servers (say xDrive) it uses Gmail as backend file server. You can enjoy it simply by hosting a small PHP script in your web site without any database. Gmail file space is more than 2GB, so you can imagine you already have such a big space on internet. However, you will require a Gmail account (If you don’t have any Gmail address, go GmailSwap or ask your friends.). PGD automatically connects Gmail server and fetches list of all attached files and generate downloadable links in a tree like view

PTViewer is an open and free Panorama viewer. It is written in the Java language (v.1.0.4) and should run in any java-enabled browser. From Version 1.4, there is an additional Java-application which runs without any browser on Java 1.1 installations.

Its main features are:

* Image and window size only limited by system memory.
* Link any document to any point in the image using hotspots.
* Configurable Controls in Appletwindow.
* Complete VR-Tours in Browsers and Appletviewer.
* Scriptable via html/javascript and internal scripting system
* Tiny file size (<25kByte) for fast download.
* Package all files into one self-displaying tour using the Jar-utility.
* Display 3D-objects, Panorama Movies and animations using auxiliary helper applets included in the distribution.

This is a very impressive java applet for panoramas with lots of extensions (i.e. a rotating compas, images that can be placed into the panorama and more)

moo.fx – the next small thing

moo.fx is a superlightweight, ultratiny, megasmall javascript effects library, written with prototype.js.

It’s easy to use, fast, cross-browser, standards compliant, provides controls to modify Height, Width, and Opacity with builtin checks that won’t let a user break the effect with multiple crazy clicks. It’s also optimized to make you write the lesser code possible.

AFLAX: A JavaScript Library for Macromedia’s Flash Platform

AFLAX (Wikipedia Entry) is a method through which developers may use JavaScript and Flash together to create AJAX-type applications, but with a much richer set of vector drawing controls than are available in either Internet Explorer or FireFox. Developers using this library have access to the full range of Flash features, but without ever touching the Flash IDE.

Really Simple History

The Really Simple History (RSH) framework makes it easy for AJAX applications to incorporate bookmarking and back and button support. By default, AJAX systems are not bookmarkable, nor can they recover from the user pressing the browser’s back and forward buttons. The RSH library makes it possible to handle both cases.
In addition, RSH provides a framework to cache transient session information that persists after a user leaves the web page. This cache is used by the RSH framework to help with history issues, but can also be used by your own applications to improve application performance. The cache is linked to a single instance of the web page, and will disappear when the user closes their browser or clear their browser’s cache.
RSH works on Internet Explorer 6 and Gecko-based browsers, like Firefox. Safari is not supported.

Simple JavaScript Database

This example illustrates one way of creating a completely JavaScript database with AMASS storage. This was thrown together and just more or less illustrates the possibility of using AMASS storage and TrimPath query javascript in conjunction for an offline in browser database. Why? The possibility of an offline database would be one of the pieces needed to create an offline AJAX application, something very desirable.

Kill Monster

Killmonster is the simplest browser based game possible. It simply lets users fight monsters in a 1-click battle. Monsters are created by the administrator and battles are weight by the user’s skill points and the monster’s skill points. New feature in 1.2 lets users fight each others. AN optional PM block is available here but it not included in default installation.
